PMDD Wellbeing Workshop

grounded. Selly OakBournbrook, England
Saturday, Apr 18, 2026 from 2 pm to 4:30 pm
Overview

Join us for a chilled afternoon for PMDD warriors; practical advice, somatic techniques, connection and a goody bag worth over £40.00!

PMDD Wellbeing Workshop

Join us at grounded. Selly Oak for a relaxed and supportive session all about managing PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) and improving your overall wellbeing. Brought to you by The PMDD Project (The UK’s First charity to focus on improving the lives of those affected by PMDD) and Mind-Body Calm.

Exploring:

  • What is PMDD?
  • Causes, treatments and care.
  • Signposting, your rights and advocacy.
  • Practical advice and guidance on wellbeing and having your needs met.
  • Q & A
  • Sharing of lived experiences
  • An opportunity to connect with others.

Featuring:

  • A wellbeing goody bag worth over £40.00!
  • An awareness and wellbeing talk with Kim Cormack - PMDD warrior and Community Outreach Manager for The PMDD Project: The UK's first charity to support those affected by PMDD.

This workshop offers a gentle introduction to how PMDD can impact the nervous system and how body-based awareness practices may help support greater steadiness during challenging phases of the cycle.

Together, we’ll explore how stress, hormonal shifts, and emotional intensity interact with the body — and learn simple, practical tools to foster regulation and connection. Participants will be guided through accessible exercises that encourage awareness without pressure or perfection. The focus is on building a more compassionate relationship with the body and developing small, sustainable practices that can be integrated into everyday life.

All funds raised via ticket sales will go directly back into The PMDD Project’s ongoing mission to raise awareness in the UK. E.g. public workshops, in schools and universities, places of employment, local groups across the UK, with NHS practitioners and medical students etc.
