PMDD WORKSHOP FOR LOVED ONES
Join us in person to learn how to support your loved ones dealing with PMDD in a caring, hands-on workshop!
Do you support someone with PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder)? Whether you are a family member, friend, partner or other, this workshop is for you.
This PMDD Awareness Month, join us at Grounded, Selly Oak for a friendly and informative workshop especially designed for the loved ones of those affected by PMDD.
The PMDD Project is the first UK charity to focus on improving the lives of everyone affected by PMDD. We understand that it can often take a community to support one person with this debilitating condition. YOU are a huge part of that community.
As a loved one, we understand just how challenging, overwhelming and distressing it can be for you and how lost it can make you feel.
This Workshop aims to:
- Provide clinically approved, up-to-date information on what PMDD is causes, treatments, rights & advocacy and signposting.
- Provide advice, guidance and tips on how to support your loved one with PMDD.
- Share lived experience.
- Encourage connections with peers and find mutual support.
- Answer any questions you have.
PLUS: A little something from us to you :-)
All funds raised via ticket sales will go directly back into The PMDD Project’s ongoing mission to raise awareness in the UK. E.g. public workshops, in schools and universities, places of employment, local groups across the UK, with NHS practitioners and medical students etc.
