Actions and Detail Panel

The Proteomics Methods Forum is open to anyone in the UK and Ireland who is engaged in proteomic research. It is aimed particularly at those who are actually working 'at the coal face' such as facility and laboratory managers, 'hands-on' PIs, post-docs, and technicians.
Is accommodation booked automatically for me?
No, you will need to book accommodation separately. Please see the question below for details.
What are the options for accommodation?
We have arranged for a special discounted rate for B&B accommodation at the Lady Margaret Hall. You can book it at http://www.universityrooms.com/en/city/oxford/college/lmhoxford. The full details about the discount will be available once you have registered, but the cost will be £76.50 per night. Spaces are limited on this accommodation.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No, not strictly, although the conference is intended for individuals who are working with proteomics and mass spectrometers and this would assume that individuals are in a job or in a higher education institution and therefore over 18 years old.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
As the conference is supported by our generous sponsors and is made available for free, we cannot provide travel bursaries or grants for accomodation. As a result, you need to be able to get yourself to the conference, and you need to organise accomodation for yourself.
If you require parking of a vehicle, please contact the organiser in order to obtain details.
What should I bring into the event?
Other than yourself, we recommend bringing something to make notes with, whether electronic or "the more normal" pen and paper.
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
You can contact the organiser via the EventBrite system here, or you can send an e-mail to proteomics-methods-forum-administrators
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. We will have a list of registered attendees and we will ask you sign in at the beginning of the event.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes, you can ammend your details through the EventBrite web pages.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
We ask that the individual who is registered is the person who turns up. It facilitates our registration process. If you are no longer able to attend, but would like someone else to attend in your place, please contact the organisers of the event to arrange this.
