Join us for an exciting series of interactive podcasting and broadcasting workshops in collaboration with Origin Housing!
About the Workshops:
In these engaging workshops, young participants aged 11-18 will have the opportunity to explore the world of podcasting and broadcasting while addressing topics that matter to them. Led by experienced facilitators, the sessions will blend discussions, creative exercises, and practical activities to empower participants to express themselves and amplify their voices.
Themes:
Participants can choose between creating football-themed mock episodes or addressing real-life issues such as youth crime, violence, school challenges, and transitioning to college or university. Each session will offer a safe and supportive space for dialogue, self-expression, and exploration.
Workshop Structure:
- Duration: 4 weeks
- Frequency: Weekly sessions, 2 hours per session
- Format: Interactive workshops
- Activities: Scriptwriting, recording, editing, guest speakers (optional), feedback sessions
- Outcome Evaluation: Pre and post-workshop feedback forms
