Shaper/Caper is a charity all about dancing, prancing, and romancing....well, maybe not the romancing bit, but we hope to make you fall in love with dance. We present the work of multi award-winning choreographer, Thomas Small.  Thomas is the first ever BBC Radio 2 Artist in Residence in association with The Space! Whoop! He is also a fellow on the coveted Clore Leadership Programme, is former Choreographer in Residence at The Space in Dundee. Thomas’ critically acclaimed work has been presented all over the shop, from two visits to New York all the way to Sao Paulo in Brazil.  We also do some rather nifty creative learning projects including A Day to Play, performance workshops for people of all ages and our super duper project, Well Good, delivered in partnership with NHS Tayside.

Join Izzy, august and Levi for some quickfire poetry writing prompts, followed by the chance to share some of what you&#x27;ve written (if you so desire). It’s all about bringing young people together to promote mental health and wellbeing through connection and creativity.Taking place over two days, Creatiful invites young people and families to come along and get involved in some FREE events and workshops hosted by brilliant local artists. It’s all about trying new things and opening up the arts to all, so come and have a nosey at what’s on offer!Friday 18 November, 7pm to 9pm | Serendipities DundeeAn arts networking event for young artists. A cosy, creative evening with refreshments, where the Youth Advisory Board will talk about their experience curating the festival, and you will have the chance to chat with fellow artists!Saturday 19 November, 11am to 5pm | Maxwell Centre DundeeA full day of fun arts workshops and performances for all ages and abilities with an emphasis on connection, mental wellbeing, and skills development. Prepare to watch amazing work and/ or to participate in workshops lead by fellow emerging young artists.
