Event description
London's award-winning LGBTQ+ literary salon. Hosted by author Paul Burston with guests Salena Godden, Sophia Blackwell and Polis Loizou.

About this Event

Salena Godden is a poet, author, activist, broadcaster, memoirist and essayist. Her published books include volumes of poetry and a memoir, Springfield Road. She has also written for BBC TV and radio and has released four studio albums to date. Her debut novel is Mrs Death Misses Death - described as an “electrifying genre and form-defying firestarter”.

Sophia Blackwell is the author of three collections of poetry and a novel. Her short stories have been published in the collections Boys and Girls and Men and Women and her poetry has been anthologised by Bloodaxe, Nine Arches and the Emma Press. Her latest poetry collection is The Other Woman.

Polis Loizou writes for the page, stage and screen. His first novel Disbanded Kingdom was longlisted for the Polari First Book Prize. His second novel The Way It Breaks will be published in June.
