This multimedia presentation will take you through significant landmarks and hidden gems that tell the story of Polish immigrants and their contributions to the city. Discover the cultural, social, and historical impact of the Polish community in Liverpool through multimedia presentation, including:Polish Churches: Learn about the role of Polish religious institutions in fostering community and preserving cultural traditions.Polish Cultural Centres: Explore venues that have served as hubs for Polish cultural activities, social gatherings, and support networks.Monuments and Memorials: Pay tribute to the Polish individuals and groups who have left a lasting legacy in Liverpool.Residential Areas: Find out individual inspirational stories linked with specific streets of Liverpool City Centre where Polish immigrants settled and built their lives, shaping the local culture and economy.Many of those stories have been hidden in the archives and this presentation will uncover some of the most precious heritage documents. This is a stand alone event, but also can be a follow up to the Polish Heritage Tour as it's sharing more details, stories of individuals not covered at the Tour and many more archive images.
