Pollinator Pots

The Sand BothyBalmedie, Aberdeenshire
Tuesday, Mar 31 from 10:30 am to 11:15 am
Overview

Join the Formartine Ranger to learn how you can help our local pollinators and make your own cardboard pollinator pot of wildflowers.

Join us to learn how you can help our local pollinators and make your own cardboard pollinator pot of wildflowers. What have the pollinators ever done for us? Well, lots actually, so come along and find out who they are and what they do. From butterflies to bees and more these wee beasties are struggling due to loss of habitats and use of pesticides. We’ll start with a short talk followed by making a free compostable pot of compost and wildflower seeds to take away and help our local pollinators.

If you just want to make a pot there will be a drop in session afterwards from 11:30-12:30.

Family friendly and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Each adult must also book a ticket.

Sorry, this session is not suitable for dogs.
