We welcome you to a day celebrating Poor Lass! From our beginnings as a Zine and now as a podcast we’re all about sharing the stories of working class people We’ll be hosting three panels featuring very special guests (to be announced) on the topics: identity / education and academia / arts and culture.Join us in discussing - can you transcend class? What is the concept of upwardly mobile and what the hell does it mean?As ever we’ll be bringing all the laughs too, lots of honesty and oversharing and of course crisp sandwiches!We will feature live readings from the Zine during the event and will have catering, stalls and collections for local charity donations This event aims to be accessible to all.
