Portsmouth Technologies Trials Unit - an Introduction

An exciting new collaboration between the University of Portsmouth and Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust (PHT) has been launched that will support more health research studies locally. Portsmouth Technologies Trials Unit (PTTU) will combine resources from UoP and PHT to provide the skilled staff and infrastructure to develop and deliver clinical research projects for the benefit of patients and the community.

PTTU will support all stages of the research project lifecycle, from developing research questions that are relevant to the NHS and patients, designing clinical investigations and obtaining funding, as well as all aspects of study delivery and dissemination.
