What are the positive tipping points for a transformation in Exeter's environmental action? How can we create and trigger them?Join this free workshop to find out, and hear the latest research into Positive Tipping Points. We will collectively practice using the Positive Tipping Points framework - creating the right conditions for change, finding reinforcing feedback loops, and triggering a shift into a new system - before identifying key next steps for climate action across Exeter.The Positive Tipping Points framework is a way to re-think our understanding of how change happens. We're familiar with negative tipping points that can accelerate the crisis, such as glacier melt or biodiversity loss, but we are also able to predict and encourage positive shifts which will help us avoid the worst impacts.T﻿he event is free for all, and refreshments will be provided. We are specifically inviting community projects, local policy makers, academics and others playing a role in Exeter's environmental ecosystem.This event, in collaboration with the Exeter Living Lab, is part of a series of free Green Futures Network workshops following the <a href="https://global-tipping-points.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Global Tipping Points Conference</a> in Exeter in September.
