Preparation

Preparation is everything you need to do right up until the moment before you begin.

Purpose

Presenters can't hide and can't do nothing. If you are not aware of what you want to do, then you run the risk of doing something you don't realise - and this might undermine your performance.

Break

A short break to stretch your legs, get refreshments and post any questions in the chat.

Relationship

There is a reason why it's called presenting. The relationship between presenter and audience only thrives in the present moment, and it is through this that your presentation topic must be conveyed.

Motivation

The way you speak about your topic in public influences the way your audience considers it in private, so presentations must be powered by passion, curiosity or interest.

Authenticity

There is no right way to present; only your way and this workshop concludes with a challenge that asks you to make deliberate, specific and authentic choices about how you want to present.

Welcome to Potential Energy - Interactive Online Presentation Delivery Skills Workshop! Would you like to improve and enhance your presentation delivery skills? Join me, Piero Vitelli, on Tuesday Jun 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM BST for an engaging and interactive online workshop where you'll learn more about how to connect with your audience effectively and deliver memorable presentations.

What do I need to know?

As an online equivalent of the face to face version that I have been delivering in-house for almost thirty years, this workshop is about delivering presentations and not creating them. It does not focus on structuring a story, creating visual aids or determining how to select or shape content. Rather, it invites you on a journey through a susprising landscape that explores how people communicate naturally and offers you a greater understanding of the five fundamental principles of effective presentation delivery that allow you to naturally communicate in the unnatural and highly charged setting of a presentation.

Who should attend?

Anyone and everyone who wants to. It doesn't matter whether you have no presenting experience or have been doing it for longer than I have, this course has something for you. As we are all equipped to deliver outstanding presentations, it's a case of determining what works for each of us and how to realise it. There is always something new to discover, and this course is the perfect place to explore what that might be with like-minded people.

Why should you believe me?

I originally trained in technical theatre and stage management at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and worked for a few years before going back to drama school at Arts Ed to study acting for a further three. This, along with thirty years' experience since of working in theatre, events, production, personal development and training is what brings my work its distinctive, memorable and utilitatrian qualities.

Frequently asked questions

Will there be a recording if I can't attend on the day?

Yes! The workshop will be recorded on Zoom and you will have access to the recording for four weeks after it ends.

Who is this session for?

Anyone who has to present and wants to do it better. It doesn't matter if you have no experience of presenting or have been doing it for years, there is always something to learn.

What do I get for my ticket price?

You get access to the three hour workshop which involves inputs from me and group discussions with everyone on the course. You get access to a wealth of practical online resources, a copy of the slides from the session as a PDF and a copy of my book "Dancing in the Line of Fire" on Kindle.

Will I have to present to the group?

No. There will be some main room conversations, but you will not be asked to present to the whole group.

Is this workshop any good?

Yes it is! I've been developing this course for almost thirty years and have delivered it to tens of thousands of people all over the world so far. It constantly evolves and I continue to learn with it.

Why don't you offer refunds?
