In this workshop, tutor Maya Doyle of @uschie.uk, will guide you in a step-by-step pinch pot class. Learn how to make a mug, vase, bowl, trinket dish, etc or do your own thing! 23rd April 2026 6pm - 8pm Mimo, 46 Sydney Street, Brighton, BN1 4EP On The Day: - Introduction to ceramics. - Creating your form. - Smoothing and finalising the shape. - Painting & decorating. - Cleaning.
What Happens Next? - Your piece will dry slowly for 1 or 2 weeks. - We will do a bisque/ first fire (950C - 48hrs). - We will then dip your pieces in a clear, glossy glaze (1150C - 48hrs). - Time to collect your pieces from Mimo!! (please wait for your email confirming that your pot is ready). Good To Know: - All skills welcome / Beginner friendly. - Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. - Children under the age of 16 will need parental supervision (with both tickets paid). - BYOB - This is not a wheel throwing class. - No refunds for cancellations or no-shows.
