POWER UP YOUR VOCAL PRESENCE WORKSHOP
This multi-session workshop series is designed to help participants develop truth, authenticity and expression in their voice which reflects confidence, clarity and presence. By blending vocal technique, embodiment and communication psychology, the series guides participants from self-awareness to fully owning their vocal authority in any context.
SERIES OVERVIEW
Duration: 4 sessions (2.5 - 3 hours each)
Format: Experiential, interactive, and supportive, with exercises for solo practice, partner work, and group sharing
Goal: Build vocal strength, clarity, and presence while cultivating self-trust and effective communication
*To fully benefit from this workshop series, it is recommended that you attend all four sessions, however we welcome those wishing to focus on specific topics.

Session 1: Finding Your Vocal Foundation, Clarity & Intention
- Explore how posture, breath and nervous-system states shape the voice
- Discover personal vocal habits and tension patterns
- Grounding and breath exercises to connect voice with physical presence
- Introductory vocal warm-ups for resonance and range
- Learn articulation, pacing and phrasing techniques
- Practice speaking with intention: aligning what you say with how you sound
- Exercises to reduce filler words, hesitations and self-doubt in speech
- Short reflective vocal exercises for personal messaging
Session 2: Strength & Authority
- Explore projection, resonance and dynamic range
- Techniques for sustaining vocal energy without strain
- Experiments with commanding presence: standing, gesturing and using silence
- Role-play exercises for high-stakes conversations or presentations
Session 3: Expressiveness & Emotional Nuance
- Connect emotion, storytelling and authenticity to vocal delivery
- Practice modulating tone, rhythm and inflection for impact
- Vocal improvisation exercises to explore spontaneity and creative expression
- Feedback loops for nuanced delivery and audience connection
Session 4: Owning Your Space, Presence & Integration
- Advanced presence exercises: eye contact, gesture and physical openness
- Strategies for handling nerves, imposter syndrome and self-judgment
- Speaking in front of peers with confidence, authority and clarity
- Integration of personal voice style into professional and personal contexts
- Participants present a prepared piece or message using all skills learned
- Peer and facilitator feedback focused on strengths and growth
- Reflection on transformation, personal vocal signature and next steps
- Tools for continued practice and maintaining vocal presence
