Powerlines 2025
Powerlines festival is one of the UK’s newest Independent Metal festivals – established in 2025 and exciting addition to the Yorkshire the heavy metal calendar.
Held at the charming location of Crookes Social Club in Sheffield in South Yorkshire, Powerlines plans to showcase a strong metal line-up on Yorkshire soil, with both local homegrown artists and national acts. By the fans, for the fans!
Expect to be joined by your metal brethren from all over, descending on Sheffield on 20th September 2025 for a day of unadulterated, full-on metal. This event is open to all ages and types of metalheads.

Forged from members of local folk heroes Treebeard and The Kraken fused with a plethora of established metal musicians, ThunarWülf bring forward an energetic and aggressive mix of huge riffs, traditional folk melodies from the British Isles and beyond, sprinkled with catchy hooks. This event is open to all ages, however, please note that under 18s must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. You should also ensure that you bring ID with you to this event as Club operates the “Think 25” policy for the sale of alcohol.
Public area is all on one level. Access via a ramp at the front door. Fully accessible with disabled parking at front of building and accessible toilet.
Please ensure you have your ticket ready to be scanned at the venue, you will then be given a wristband.
Once you have collected your wristband, you may come and go as you please. The venue also has other areas if you want a little break from the music. They have 2 full size snooker tables and a pool table.
There are chairs everywhere in the venue you can sit on bar stools, chairs or the sofas in the foyer. The main room will also have tables and seating available, so please come early if you want a table.
There is a smoking/vaping area at the venue.
There will be security working at the festival. Please be aware that bags may be subject to a security check upon entry.
