PPRN - Methods Masterclass is a unique opportunity to learn about emerging public policy research methods and to expand your professional network. In the first part of the class, the lecturers will present an overview of their research and the methodology they use. This part will take place in a hybrid format. In the second part of the class, the lecturers will provide hands-on methodological training. This part of the class will only take place in-person. Participants should be familiar with Stata and R. The masterclass is open to all, but will be of particular interest to doctoral students and early-career researchers working in Public Policy, Public Management, or Political Economy. Please select your mode of attendance when registering. For those who are able to attend in person, lunch and other refreshments will be provided. For those attending online, details of how to join will be sent to you a day prior to the masterclass.This event is run by the <a href="https://publicpolicyresearchnetwork.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Public Policy Research Network</a>. The PPRN is an inter-university platform that aims to foster methodological training, cooperation, and debate between doctoral students working in the broad field of public policy and political economy.
