Practice Your Pitch: Savvy Structures

What is it?

Our Practice Your Pitch season, powered by Techscaler, is focused on supporting startup founders as they get ready to present their ideas. Through a series of interactive online and in-person workshops, we'll be looking at different aspects of pitching and how a good pitch can change the journey of your startup.

What can I expect?

A supportive space to practise your pitching skills and gain confidence in this area. Each month will focus on a different aspect of the pitching process with expert insights, followed by a chance for three startup founders to practice their pitch and get crucial feedback.

Attendees and pitchers will all gain:

• Insight into the investor process
• A chance to think about how to present your business idea through a deck effectively
• Opportunities to chat to industry specialists.

Who else will be there?

You will be joined by other members of the Scottish tech ecosystem, along with members of the CodeBase team. Our Entrepreneur in Residence Andrew McGinley will be on-hand to share his experiences of building a start-up, and to offer feedback on the three selected pitches.

Where and when is this taking place?

This month's event will take place over Zoom, with follow-up discussions on an exclusive Slack channel.

Registration

We ask everyone to sign up individually, so we can have an estimate of how many people want to attend. We will also check-in each person on Eventbrite as they join the event so make sure you've signed up to the event in order to attend.

If you would like to pitch at the attend, please complete this short form. We'll be in contact with selected pitchers ten days before the event. Please note: priority will be given to Techscaler members, but anyone is welcome to apply.
