An opportunity for those interested in Health workforce issues to join Performing Medicine and research partners to consider innovative approaches to support staff wellbeing and professional development across primary care. Over the past 9 months, Performing Medicine has delivered workshops to over 100 primary care staff. Our practical arts-based workshops have offered a unique and engaging way to support teams in developing self-care, teamwork and communication skills - examining how physical, spatial and relational aspects of practice affect the way we demonstrate compassionate care. Join us to hear reflections on our experiences, including staff testimony. Together we will discuss how we can build on momentum and harness the power of the arts to support wellbeing and training initiatives within primary care, and explore how the sector can continue to advocate for this approach more widely. You will hear from Professor Suzy Willson (Prinicpal Investigator and Professor of Movement, Arts &amp; Medicine at Queen Mary University of London, Artistic Director of performance company Clod Ensemble and their Performing Medicine initiative), Dr Graham Easton (Co-investigator, GP and Professor in Clinical Communications) and the Performing Medicine Team. Special Guests include Lucy Weaver (Chief Executive at Practitioners Health) &amp; Sophie Park (Professor of Primary Care and Clinical Education in the Nuffield Dept. of Primary Care Health Sciences at the University of Oxford) who will take part in a Q&amp;A panel.
