SIETAR UK is the UK's leading organisation for intercultural education, training and research.Our mission is to share intercultural research, building networks with intercultural professionals and everyone interested in in intercultural collaboration, and to provide events and socials to support professional development.

Would you like to be up to date with the latest theories and concepts within the intercultural competence and communication field? Are you wondering about a specific question relevant to the intercultural field, yet you do not have the resources or time to look into it? Then join our event that brings students together with practitioners, to update on the latest theoretical developments in the field, to identify questions about training methods, measurement or other that could be addressed by students and to get to know the next generation of intercultural communication and competence experts that might fit into your company (e.g., internships).  
The session will be very practical, with the first half dedicated to an exchange between students and practitioners to update on theories and concepts within the intercultural field, taught at the students' institutions. This will be followed by a brain storming session, where practitioners can formulate questions relevant to their personal or general intercultural training practices. We will then discuss how students could address these questions as part of their projects/dissertations/PhDs
