Event description

Description

This is an exciting free event, funded and hosted by the NIHR Research Design Service - South Central (RDS SC) giving information on the NIHR Research for Patient Benefit (RfPB) funding stream.

This event will bring together researchers for a morning of presentations, followed by one-to-one sessions with RfPB representatives and RDS advisers in the afternoon for those with specific project ideas.

Mr Ben Morgan (Assistant Director of RfPB), Professor Chris Fife-Schaw (Chair of the RfPB South East and South Central Panel), and Mr Ramnath Elaswarapu (RfPB Programme Manager) will speak about the programme, how to apply, advice, hints and tips, and will answer questions from applicants.

If you wish to discuss your proposal in a one-to-one session during the afternoon you will need to send a one page summary 2 weeks before the day. Further details will be sent after registration. To register for the whole day please register for the "Yes I have a research proposal that I wish to discuss with advisers on the day" ticket

If you do not wish to discuss a particular proposal on the day you are free to leave after lunch - in this case please register for a "I do not wish to discuss a specific research proposal on the day" ticket.
