A webinar to launch the Dudley Preparing for Adulthood Strategy for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Dudley will be launching its Preparing for Adulthood Strategy as part of its SEND improvement programme. The online event is open to:<ul><li>young people </li><li>carers/parents </li><li>providers of care </li><li>health and local authority staff</li><li>education providers /special schools</li></ul>Attendees will get to hear about how the strategy has been developed working with young people, parents/carers and stakeholders as well as the detail of the strategy itself.We will also be holding a question and answer session with a panel :<ul><li>Matt Bowsher, Director of Adult Social Care</li><li>Helen Ellis, Service Director, Early Help, Schools and SEND</li><li>Neil Bucktin, Dudley Managing Director at Black Country and West Birmingham Clinical Commissioning Group</li></ul>Cabinet member for Children, Councillor Ruth Buttery and Cabinet member for Adults , Councillor Nicolas Barlow will also be in attendance. We are asking if questions can be submitted prior to this event via the registration process.Thank you.
