Event description
Cambridgeshire Beekeepers' Association is delighted to welcome Stewart Spinks as he talks about preparing colonies for the year ahead

About this Event

Early spring is not only the most fragile time for colonies and beekeepers, it is also a very busy time for the bees. Understanding what is happening in the hive during this time helps beekeepers minimize winter losses, maximize honey production for the coming season, and succeed in 2021

As well as the above Stewart will not only talk about the jobs to do in the spring but also advise on how he is preparing for the season ahead.

About the speaker

Stewart Spinks is a commercial bee farmer looking after over100 colonies around and about the beautiful city of Norwich and its surrounding countryside. He is the owner of the successful Norfolk Honey Company and spends much of his time creating videos which can be found on his Youtube channel sharing his beekeeping knowledge, as well as publishing his podcast Beekeeping, Short and Sweet which offers ideas and suggestions for all beekeepers whether you have one colony or many. Stewart also hosts a beekeeper support group via his Patreon page where he guides and mentors beekeepers around the world. He can be found on Twitter and Instagram.

You will be emailed a link to register for the Zoom webinar before the event - please check your emails carefully and register as soon as you receive it. Once registered you will automatically be sent an email with the Zoom joining instructions. This is different from registering with Eventbrite.
