What is it?

Struggling to pitch your business idea with confidence? Want to improve your public speaking skills with other people who feel the same way? Join us for a supportive and friendly afternoon of public speaking practice for people in the tech startup world.

What can I expect?

Prepared Presentations: Dive into the spotlight with two 5-minute slots available for you to shine! Sign up as a "presenter" and share your prepared presentation on any topic close to your heart. Whether it's your business pitch, a deep dive into your favorite hobby, or a captivating mini-lecture something your passionate about, the time is yours to sharpen your skills and get feedback from the group.

Round Robin Challenge: Join in on the action with our Round Robin sessions! It's your chance to think on your feet and speak on the fly, with no preparation necessary. It's the perfect opportunity to boost your confidence and ace those spontaneous moments in meetings and Q&A sessions.

Constructive Feedback: While you're captivating the audience with your brilliance, others will be there to support you every step of the way and give you helpful and constructive feedback.

This event will take place from 12.30-1.30pm at CodeBase, 37a Castle Terrace, EH1 2EL.

We ask everyone to sign up individually, so we can have an estimate of how many people want to attend and any accessibility requirements. Please cancel your ticket if you are no longer able to attend.
