Performing Medicine is a charitable organisation delivering creative training programmes for healthcare professionals and students. We address staff wellbeing, compassionate care, effective communication, leadership and teamwork.Our practical, hands-on workshops are delivered by expert facilitators who draw on techniques from the arts to help healthcare professionals to use their bodies and voices for effective communication, and to better look after themselves and each other.With 15+ years of experience, our courses are accessible to all who work within healthcare.Our training focuses on the human side of care, addressing the sector’s most pressing issues.

Build confidence at presenting to a group

St. Andrew's 

Do you feel nervous about presenting in front of a group at a team meeting or conference? Is that anxiety holding you back? Or, are you a confident speaker but want to fine tune your presentation skills to make more of an impact in your professional environment? This half-day, practical course introduces a range of exercises focused on both non-verbal and verbal elements of communication, developing presentation skills for a range of contexts, offering simple ways to overcome performance anxiety. The training course is open to Medical / Nursing / AHP / Nursing Assistants / Clerical Staff at all levels and across specialities working at Guy's and St. Thomas' Trust.If you have any questions please email admin@performingmedicine.com or call 020 7749 0555.This course is free to attend but you must be a member of staff at GSTT.
