Preston Mill: Quiet Day

Preston Mill is an historic water-powered grain mill. In order to welcome as wide a range of visitors as possible, we are introducing a quiet day once a month. The water wheel will not be turned on this day to allow a quieter, more relaxed visit.

We hope that these days will be a benefit to visitors with hearing loss, adults and children with autism, adults with dementia and visitors with sensory needs who might prefer a quieter more relaxed atmosphere.
