Accessibility of the venue

Accepted Answer

The building is level access from the street to all levels via lifts.
Gendered and accessible toilets are available on L1 within the main symposium event area.
For the networking drinks reception (L8), there is one non-gendered toilet, with the main toilet facilities  on L7 via the stairs or lift.

Closest Underground station

Accepted Answer

Use TfL journey planner (https://tfl.gov.uk/plan-a-journey/). The closest Tube is Chancery Lane (use Northeastern Exit which will bring you out directly in front of the venue).

Closest Overground station

Farringdon Station (Thameslink, Elizabeth Line and TfL Lines) is a 10-15 minute walk on a slight uphill incline through Hatton Gardens.

Closest paid parking

There is a pre-bookable only parking lot (JustPark, Brook Street Car Park EC1N)  behind the venue, off  Brooke Street .

Need to grab an early lunch before the symposium?

Leather Lane market is a few minutes walk from the venue, boasting a huge variety of street food. Also a variety of chain to-go food outlets across the road on Holborn, including: Pret, Wasabi, Sainsburys, Joe & Juice and M&S Food (to name a few).

How long does the event last?

Accepted Answer

The symposium lasts from 12.45pm to 5.15pm, with two short refreshment / comfort breaks scheduled into the afternoon. Afterwards, from 5.15pm to 7.15pm, there is a drinks reception on-site that you are welcome to attend. The cost of both is included in the ticket price.
