Pride Installation Presentation & Panel: Farrells
Join us for a presentation on the Pride Installation 2026 open call, followed by a panel discussion and hosted by Farrells.
Following the acclaimed 'Proudspeaker' installation at Pride in London 2025, Architecture LGBT+ and the London Festival of Architecture are once again inviting proposals for a bold creative installation for the Pride in London parade on Saturday 4 July 2026. The open call is open to architecture students, recent graduates, emerging practices and established studios across London.
Last year, responding to LFA's theme of 'Voices', oo office designed a monumental megaphone celebrating queer voice and visibility. Founded by Rania Francis, Karl Mok and Oleg Sevelkov, oo office is a London-based architecture and research practice working at the intersection of cultural narratives and material experimentation. Proudspeaker represents a powerful demonstration of co-design as a platform for underrepresented communities.
"Architecture doesn't just shape our buildings – it shapes our communities, our conversations and our sense of belonging. Proudspeaker is a defiant, joyful and beautifully conceived response to our 2025 theme. It honours queer creativity and boldly asserts that LGBTQIA+ voices not only belong in the built environment – they are fundamental to it." – Rosa Rogina, Director, London Festival of Architecture.
This year's call responds to LFA's 2026 theme of 'Belonging' – an invitation to explore how architecture and design can affirm identity, build community and assert a sense of place for LGBTQIA+ people in the city.
