PRIDE OUTSIDE
Community wellbeing day for LGBTQI+ plus family, friends and local community - All Welcome!
Join us for a fun and relaxing day in Glasgow woodlands with free workshops in meditation, bushcraft, storytelling, wellbeing, foraging, arts and crafts, fitness and lots more! There will be tea, coffee, drinks and a real fire to toast some marshmalllows on!

HOW TO GET THERE &amp; OTHER EVENT INFORMATION
CAR &amp; FREE PARKING -The address of the woodlands is 2229 London Road and for the Sat Nav it’s G32 8XQ. There is free parking at Sterling Furniture Shop across the road from the main entrance to the woodlands.
TAXI’S FROM GEORGE SQUARE WITH GROUP – we’re meeting at the Lion Statue at George Square 11.30am and you can call/text Louise the organiser on 07510386661 if you need any help getting there. A taxi is around 15 minutes and works out at about £2.50 each when 4 are in a taxi.
BUS – The number 240 is every 10 minutes from Ingram Street in town and will take you to Causewayside Street then it’s few minute’s walk to Auchenshuggle Woods from there.
FOOD AND DRINK- there will be tea, coffee, water and small snacks made over the fire like popcorn and marshmallows. Feel free to bring a picnic and snacks and there is also Greggs and a shop across the road.
ACCESSABILITY/MOBILITY – the woodlands are very flat, and the event is about 100 yards from the entrance to the woodlands and there will be chairs as well. Please get in touch with Louise our organiser 07510386661) if we can help with car parking spaces beside the entrance to the woods if you are in a wheelchair.
TOILETS - there are toilets on site and also a disabled toilet in Greggs across the road.
DOGS – are very welcome!
