Pride Party!

The House of St Barnabas is a charity pledging to break the cycle of homelessness and social exclusion in London. They run a social enterprise, a not-for-profit members’ club, to help the people they support back into lasting paid work.Their Employment Academy offers accredited qualifications, on-site work experience, real job opportunities and mentoring. The House of St Barnabas are seeking to redefine the notion of a members’ club, to challenge stereotypes around the idea of exclusivity and to create a different kind of membership.The club is a creative, socially conscious and vibrant space.

Join us for the annual Barnabas Pride Party in the heart of Soho

Celebrate Pride in the heart of Soho with The House of St Barnabas on Saturday 11th September. We stand with the LGBTQ+ community at all times but for Pride we really like to make some noise! With music from DJs Boogie Cartel, Twice Shy (Gay Garage), Mica Coca, and a fabulous live drag act, this is one pride party not to be missed. Over the last decade Boogie Cartel have earned an unrivalled reputation for bringing a party wherever they go, from Glastonbry&#x27;s infamous NYC Downlow to Horse Meat Disco via countless dark basements and clubs. All four residents will be playing together for the first time in many years. Expect bumping House and Garage to late night Disco and Boogie. We&#x27;ll also be joined by Mica Coca; a London based DJ hailing from Manchester. London and all it’s culture is the heart of her performance. Mica brings the vibration of energetic House music and soulful sounds. Music is a lifelong passion, and Mica brings that love to create safe spaces for marginalised people. She is the co founder of QTPOC club nights Resisdance and Nite Dykez and also a radio resident, hosting a monthly show on Aaja. Also keep an eye out for our special guest; drag queen Ella Gant! Ella is a trained actor and singer who will be serving up some modern pop, Latin music and some older classics. Join us in our Grade I Listed building with the largest private garden in Soho for a day and night of ridiculously good music, great people and delicious drinks. This event is open to non-members. This is a fundraising event for the House of St Barnabas with all proceeds going towards our mission to break the cycle of homelessness.__________________________________________________________This is a strictly over-18s event.
