Can other year groups take part in this activity?

Accepted Answer

This activity has been designed for UKS2 – Years 5 and 6
Mixed year 4-5 or 4-6 classes can attend as long as the year 4 Electricity NC content has been covered

Question 3

What resources will my students need to take part?

Accepted Answer

Each group of students  will need access to a Micro:bit and a laptop or tablet to code. If your school does not have Micro:bits, please contact us on education@ukesf.org before booking.  Students will also need scissors and thin card or paper to build their bots. All other resources will be provided

Question 4

Does this activity need to be completed in full during the Festival of Tomorrow period?

Accepted Answer

The programme is designed to be flexible and you are welcome to work through the sessions in whichever way makes sense for your class. This could be during the festival or over a term.
