Refund Policy - Residential ConferencesThe Diocese of Westminster Education Service aims to keep training accessible while meeting the fixed costs associated with residential events, courses and conferences.Online Training (Live or On-Demand)Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the scheduled session will receive a full refund (excluding Eventbrite booking fees).Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the scheduled session are non-refundable.Day Courses (Non-Residential)Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the event will receive a full refund (excluding Eventbrite booking fees, where applicable).Cancellations made between 7 and 13 days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund.Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the event are non-refundable.R﻿esidential ConferencesCancellations made more than 60 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund (excluding Eventbrite booking fees, where applicable).Cancellations made between 30 and 59 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund.Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival are non-refundable.Refunds cannot be issued for:Non-attendanceEarly departureFailure to arrive on the scheduled dateIn exceptional or pastoral circumstances, refund requests may be considered at the discretion of the Diocese of Westminster Education Service. Where possible, substitutions from the same school or academy trust may be accepted in place of cancellations.

RED CPD Package to include six planning workshops and three twilight online sessions. Each school can send two members of staff.

London Jesuit Centre

This professional development programme provides a structured package of six full-day courses and three twilight sessions, designed to support teachers and RECs in implementing the RED curriculum across EYFS - Year 6. The package enables each school to send two teachers on each of the day courses which focus on two year groups. The package offers participants opportunities to develop subject knowledge, collaborate with colleagues, and create engaging planning and activities that align with the Ways of Knowing and Knowledge Lenses. <h4>EYFS</h4><h4>Y1 &amp; Y2 Teachers</h4>Aim: To provide opportunities to unpack the RED and collaborate on activities and planning tailored to these year groups.Objectives:<ol><li>Investigate the content of the RED (including sample resources).</li><li>Work with the DOWES team and colleagues.</li><li>Plan engaging activities linked to the Ways of Knowing and Knowledge Lenses.</li><li>Engage in Q&amp;A and share expertise.</li></ol><h4>Y3 &amp; Y4 Teachers/RECs (Branches 3 &amp; 4: Galilee to Jerusalem &amp; Desert to Garden)</h4>Aim: To develop subject knowledge and collaborative planning for Branches 3 &amp; 4 of the RED.Objectives:<ol><li>Investigate the content of Galilee to Jerusalem and Desert to Garden branches (including sample resources).</li><li>Work with the DOWES team and colleagues.</li><li>Plan activities linked to the Ways of Knowing and Knowledge Lenses.</li><li>Opportunities to ask questions and share expertise.</li></ol><h4>Y5 &amp; Y6 Teachers/RECs (Branches 5 &amp; 6: To the Ends of the Earth &amp; Dialogue and Encounter)</h4>Aim: To develop subject knowledge and collaborative planning for Branches 5 &amp; 6 of the RED.Objectives:<ol><li>Investigate the content of To the Ends of the Earth and Dialogue and Encounter branches (including sample resources).</li><li>Work with the DOWES team and colleagues.</li><li>Plan activities linked to the Ways of Knowing and Knowledge Lenses.</li><li>Opportunities to ask questions and share expertise.</li></ol><h3>Twilight Sessions (3 sessions across the year)</h3>Aim: To continue to support teachers and provide collaborative opportunities for the implementation of the RED.Focus Areas:<ol><li>Sharing of good practice.</li><li>Exploring new resources and ideas.</li><li>Reviewing planning and pupils’ work.</li><li>Q&amp;A and professional dialogue.</li></ol> By the end of the CPD package, participants will:<ul><li>Have secure subject knowledge across relevant RED branches (Y1–Y6).</li><li>Be equipped with practical, engaging resources and planning strategies.</li><li>Confidently apply the Ways of Knowing and Knowledge Lenses in their classroom teaching.</li><li>Strengthen collaborative networks across schools, with ongoing support from DOWES.</li><li>Build reflective practice through shared dialogue, review, and evaluation.</li></ul> Please see below a course breakdown along with the dates and location options.
