Join us at the Primary Science Network in Banbury to connect with fellow educators and share exciting ideas for teaching science! In this face-to-face network meeting, we have a unique opportunity to focus on a fantastic resource from the Primary Science Teaching Trust and leave with a FREE copy of the book.

Standing on the Shoulders of Giants (https://pstt.org.uk/resources/standing-on-the-shoulder-of-giants/)provides guidance and detailed resources to link the science knowledge and skills we are teaching to the work of real scientists. We will explore the book and try out some of the linked practical activities. Additionally, we will look at the timelines provided and discuss links to history. Often science can be seen as a set of unchanging facts and learning about how new data can challenge science 'facts' is an important concept for our future scientists!
