Earth Trust is an environmental charity that inspires people to address the biodiversity, climate and public health crises through the power of natural green spaces. Together with our supporter community, we are guardians of some extremely special places in South Oxfordshire, rich in nature and heritage. We use these amazing places to engage and inspire people and to demonstrate nature-based solutions that we hope others will take and use elsewhere.

About the artistJC Niala is an award-winning artist and poet based in Oxford. Her multimedia work intertwines research with several practices including collage, print and living materials.Her art is deeply connected with contemporary environmental issues and showcases a blend of words and visual elements. With an avid interest in nature’s varying forms across seasons, JC is excited that her residency at Earth Trust will enable her to observe the transformative play of light as the landscape transitions from winter’s dormancy to spring’s revival.
