Melanie Russell is an artist based in SW London. She graduated with a Masters of Fine Art from The Slade School of Fine Art in 2004 and has been a practising studio artist since. Painting and drawing make up the main body of her work which sits between abstraction and representation.Look & Draw workshops are a fun, creative and relaxed environment to experiment with different materials and techniques. All abilities are welcome, even if you think you can't draw, Melanie will encourage you to find your own drawing style and language.Instagram @melaniejrussell

Collaborative creative workshops with artists Melanie Russell and Justine formentelli that include elements of drawing, printing and/or collage. The workshops are fun and experimental,  encouraging participants to try out and play with various materials.

Join artists Melanie Russell &amp; Justine Formentelli for a fun, ceative &amp; experimantal art workshop. Participants will try printinng &amp; collage to create their own artworks inspired by nature.Participants will try various printing techniques such as mono printing and block printing on paper, exploring the endless possibilities of these mediums. They will then go on to use these prints to cut out and layer up to create beautiful collages to take home.No experience necessary. All abilities are welcome.A variety of drawing materials and paint will be used so please don't wear your best clothes.All materials and refreshments are included.This workshop is accompanying the artist's exhibition, Hustling &amp; Jostling at The woodfield Project 14th November - 3rd December. The work made for this exhibition has been inspired by observing the changing seasons and nature walks on Tooting Common.
