Privacy Protocols for Web 3.0
Event Information
About this event
While the Internet has brought great benefits to society and the economy, it is no secret that it has some serious defects as well. Currently, as the majority of the world’s population remains largely stuck indoors, the fight for data privacy is becoming more relevant than ever before. With the emergence of blockchain technology, there are now ways to secure and distribute fragile data that was previously not available. We have witnessed the rise of various pioneering projects that look to regain balance and put the power back in the hands of the user;
Privacy Protocols for Web 3.0 is hosted by BerChain e.V in collaboration with Phala Network, bringing to you the most promising players within that have a focus on privacy in Web 3.0, which upgrades the Internet-based on core principles of security, identity, trust, and user control. During the online webinar, Phala Network, Kilt Protocol and Web3 Foundation will present their use cases to give you an in-depth overview of their latest achievements. About KILT Protocol
KILT is an open-source fat blockchain protocol for issuing claim-based verifiable, revocable, and anonymous credentials in Web 3.0. It allows end-users to claim arbitrary attributes about themselves, get them attested by trusted entities, and store the claims as self-sovereign credentials (certificates). As trusted entities can issue credentials in return for money, KILT aims to foster new business models for anyone who owns trust or wants to build up trust.
