OVIDS are painterly iPhone photographs capturing the play of natural light through a window; the shadowy, abstract shapes that form momentarily in sun or moonlight. They were born out of the pandemic, of the first COVID lockdown in the UK, and inspired by Ovid, the Roman poet of metamorphosis .
