Hypha Studios presents exciting new exhibition in Euston
curated by rua, melanie cove & sam wallace
Hypha HQ, Unit 3, Euston Tower, 286 Euston Road, NW1 3DP
PV: Thursday, 8th January 2026, 6 – 9pm
Open: 9th January – 14th February 2026, Thursday – Sunday, 12 – 6pm
As if rising to the surface of a body of water, hidden inner worlds emerge.
Through immediate acts such as automatic drawing, stream of consciousness writing and improvised performance, questions arise that dismantle and reshape our realities. Surfaces operate as speculative arenas; sites for self exploration in which subjectivity blurs the real and imagined; making visible the intimate sensations of inhabiting a human body where personal moments of transformation are surfacing.
This dynamic group show invites audiences to consider their interior world by encountering the physical surfaces where artists realise their own inner narratives through media such as film, drawing, sculpture.
About the curators: Rua, Melanie Cove and Sam Wallace are a new collaborative curatorial team from the Contemporary Art Practice Masters at the Royal College of Art. They are brought together by their interest in artists whose interrogations of identity and internal worlds challenge exterior dominant narratives and restrictive taught belief systems. Their inaugural show brings together a group of emerging international artists.
Several workshops exploring the themes of the unconscious and an embodied relationship with materiality are offered during the show.
