What Product People is about: we get together regularly to show products that have been built in house and are free for people in other government departments to re-use or adapt.

We want to stop duplicating work across government and help raise awareness of all the great products that we’ve built in digital teams, so that others aren’t asked to build the same products from scratch.

<H2>When Stakeholders Attack!</H2>
As a Product Person, you are probably comfortable with the fact you will never make anyone happy ever again.

But when the backing, funding and scope of your product is dependant on making internal stakeholders happy, even when their opinions about how sites, apps and software work are strange and wrong, what do you do?
</LI>
<LI>
When a stakeholder’s ability to ‘reckon’ something trumps any weight of user research evidence to the contrary, what do you do?
</LI>
<LI>
When a stakeholder complains about lack of communication but doesn’t attend a single sprint review, what do you do?
</LI>
</UL>
This is not a rhetorical question, this is a cry for help. Luckily, we have some expert speakers with some practical advice to offer up. And if nothing else, can provide a community support group and biscuits.

If you are a "Product Person" in public sector/government digital - then join us at this event. If you are not currently a product manager/product owner and you don't work in government - then this isn't the event for you! (Please, no recruitment agencies).
