This online half day workshop is for Creative Businesses in the Ards and North Down Borough Council area that area interested in developing their understanding of ‘Product’ Photography. The workshop will by a physical event delivered by a professional photographer and there will be opportunities of questions and answers.The workshop will cover:•	Marketing benefits of effective photography in terms of improved corporate image •	Professionalising the brand through photography •	Lighting and composition •	Tips and techniques for taking a good photograph •	Showcase good photography verses bad photography to educate attendees on the importance of the right image for your brand (please use examples). This should include the following: •	Poor resolution from camera phones •	Blurred images and need for tripod •	Poorly framed •	Artificial lighting pitfalls •	Poor positioning of light source •	Poor brief •	Relevant requirements for press and publications •	How to use Depth of Field to better showcase through photography • How to write a photography brief for yourself or for a professional photographer. This should address types of shots required and the benefits of each, for example: •	Contextual shots •	Candid process shots •	Profile shots •	Product shots •	Understanding of need to respond to dimensions requirements of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc. Attendees will come away with a better understanding of the unique aspects of product photography as opposed to general photography and will be better placed to apply them to their own goods and services. Businesses in attendance will also be entitled to one hour of mentoring from the facilitator at a time and date that suits both mentor and mentee.The event will conclude with a Q&A. This workshop has limited space so early registration is advised.It is entirely at the Council’s discretion to accept registrations. Registrations from companies outside the Borough may be considered in exceptional circumstances and at the entire discretion of the council.Please note that by registering onto this event, you agree to share your name, company name and objectives with the third party delivery agent.
