Productivity User Event Webinar
About this event
The forum will be an opportunity to gather ideas and discuss the ONS productivity measures. These include output per hour, output per job and output per worker for the whole economy and a range of industries; productivity in the public services; multi-factor productivity and unit labour costs.
In this forum, we’ll hear from Managing Director of the Productivity Institute and Professor of Productivity Studies, Bart Van Ark and Tera Allas, CBE, Director of Research and Economics at McKinsey & Company. We are delighted to also be joined with experts and representatives from key-stakeholder organisations as they advise on the ONS’ journey towards new development opportunities. You will also hear about the work accomplished over the past few years, the benefits derived from timely and diverse productivity data. Given the high importance we attribute to users’ inputs we ask participants to come to the forum with a collaborative approach.
The format is organised in such a way to foster dialogue and collect views. There will be presentations and thematic breakout sessions where users will have the chance of meeting and exchanging ideas with ONS analysts, including those responsible for compiling the different ONS productivity estimates.
Please be aware that once your registration is confirmed, we will forward a link onto you to access the webinar 24 hours before the event.
