In this online CPD Mash Meet we'll explore:<ul><li>The main input and output features of microbit and Purple Chip devices, specifically the buttons, the LED display and the inbuilt sensors</li><li>How to program the devices using the commands in Purple Mash Free Code</li><li>Practical tips for getting started with your class</li></ul><ul><li>The lesson plans and premade resources in the Purple Mash Computing Scheme of Work</li></ul>Benefits and outcomes:<ul><li>Understanding how programming physical devices can stimulate computational thinking</li><li>Understand how the Purple Mash Scheme of Work can support you in delivering the computing curriculum in your class;</li><li>Save time when planning and finding resources;</li></ul>Session equipment:There will be opportunities for hands-on exploration during the session so to get the best out of the session you will need:<ul><li>a smart phone or tablet with Purple Chip installed. (Purple Chip is free to download from Google Play store or Apple App store.
