<h2>PANEL DISCUSSIONS:</h2><h3>Building a workplace that supports mental health </h3><p>Maintaining good mental health has been difficult of late, with many feeling heightened anxiety and stress as the Coronavirus outbreak threatens jobs and lives. In some cases, especially in the tech sector, it has exacerbated the &quot;always on&quot; culture as technology teams fight to keep companies functioning remotely, and those working from home struggle to maintain a work-life balance. All while trying to stay calm during a global pandemic. </p><p>When discussing mental health at work the onus can so often be put on the individual to manage their mental wellbeing, but their workplace can help too. For those from an underrepresented group, having an ally at work can be the difference between wanting to stay at a company and wanting to leave. Delivered by Rachel Morgan-Trimmer, Neurodiversity Coach and Consultant.<p>This taster workshop will tell you what neurodiversity is and the strengths and challenges of conditions like autism, ADHD and dyslexia. You will also learn how your entire workplace will benefit from inclusive hiring practices. </p><p>******************************************************************************************************</p><h3>Workshop two: 17th September 2020, from 16:00.</h3><h3> The gender pay gap and what it means post lockdown and furlough for all women/womxn,  mothers, carers, and singletons.  </h3>
Delivered by: Tech London Advocates  Women in Tech  group.<p>The Government Equalities Office (GEO) and the Equality and Human Right Commission (EHRC) have suspended gender pay gap reporting regulations for this year, due to the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. We&#x27;ll discuss what this means for all women/womxn, mothers, carers, and singletons who are mostly tasked with familial responsibilities, be laid off post-furlough and generally bear the financial brunt. This discussion will offer some insights from gender pay equity advocacy leaders, data and resources for actionable takeaways.</p><p>******************************************************************************************************</p><h3>Workshop three: 24th September 2020, from 16:00.</h3><h3>Making organisations more inclusive for Black employees: Education and Allyship</h3>
Chaired by Debbie Forster, CEO of Tech Talent Charter .<p>This practical workshop will feature subject matter experts from the TTC July Hackathon, Sei Moon, Gori Yahaya, Marika Bee and Kevin Cushnie.
