A Q&A session about the Expression of Interest for the PropTech Engagement Fund, hosted by the Digital Planning Team at MHCLG.

MHCLG is launching a <a href="https://localdigital.gov.uk/fund/proptech-engagement-fund/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">PropTech Engagement Fund</a> to support the widespread adoption of digital citizen engagement tools and services within the planning process. These council-led funded projects will enable us to better understand the barriers to be overcome to allow local authorities to adopt these tools at scale. <h3>Planning for the Future</h3>The <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/planning-for-the-future" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Planning for the Future White Paper</a> set out a vision to increase the use of digital engagement within the planning process, to make the planning system more accountable and democratic by offering alternative routes to engage alongside traditional forms of engagement. <h3>Joining details</h3>If you are thinking of submitting an Expression of Interest please register for this event using your local government email address by Monday 16 August.The session will take place virtually and you will be sent a link to a Microsoft Teams call where the session will take place.Attendees will also be invited to submit any questions in advance of the session via sli.do.
