If you are looking to gain hands-on expertise in multiparametric MRI of the prostate, this course offers plenty of opportunity to independently report MRI’s using PIRADS v.2.1. Through a range of didactic lectures, we'll also review the advances in diagnostics and minimal invasive therapy of prostate cancer.

Led by Dr Olly Hulson of Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, we'll take you through the importance of prostate MRI in the diagnosis and surveillance of prostate cancer whilst reviewing the scoring systems for prostate MRI – PIRADS v2.1 and Likert scoring systems. With seminars considering the minimal requirements & quality criteria for mpMRI acquisition & reporting, we'll also consider what both the oncologist and urologist want to know from the prostate MRI report.

In between plenty of opportunity for hands-on case reviews looking at Pathology and treatment planning, we'll also consider new developments in mpMRI-targeted biopsy and look at difficult case reviews and controversies in prostate MRI.

With expertise from Consultants including Dr Nishant Omar, Clinical Lead for Adults' Non-Vascular Intervention at Manchester, and Dr Atif Khan, Consultant Radiologist, Leeds Teaching Hospitals and committee member of the British Society of Urogenital Radiology, you'll learn from a range of experienced Consultants and together we'll gain confidence in reporting a range of MRI scans.
