About this event

  • Event lasts 5 hours 30 minutes

Even if we understand the legal protection given to ‘personal characteristics’, do we fully understand our responsibilities as employers in how we deal with them? To what extent does our status as Christian employers offer protection, and what are the implications if we get it wrong? Is there any conflict between the law and our Christian ethos, and if so, how do we navigate it?

These are just some of the questions being asked by members of the GC network, and given the associated risks, it’s important that we spend time looking at them under the guidance of employment law experts.

During this event, we’ll hear from Mark Mason and Roy Magara (both employment law specialists and members of the network) who will explain some of the nuances that we need to take into consideration when deciding how to address these difficult questions in our organisations.
