IF Oxford science and ideas Festival takes place in venues across Oxford, and online each October with events and entertainment to inspire debate and celebrate research and creativity in Oxfordshire. The Festival has a vision of a world where the complexity, wonder and opportunities of scientific research are explored, challenged, celebrated and enjoyed across society.The Festival is organised by the Charity Oxfordshire Science Festival, Charity number 1151361

IF Oxford science and ideas Festival

Do you have to eat meat to maintain strength and mass? What do we mean by performance?
Join Buzz Gym Personal Trainers and competitive bodybuilders Maria Reyes and Joe Butler, and Susan Jebb, Professor of Diet and Population Health, to explore the relationship between protein and sporting performance. Susan is a leading nutrition scientist who focuses on diet and disease, and how evidence on diet is translated into policy and practice, by government, industry and the media. 
 
IF Oxford is operating a Pay What You Decide (PWYD) ticketing system. This works by enabling you to pre-book events without paying for a ticket beforehand. Aferwards, you have the opportunity to pay what you decide you want to, or can afford. If you prefer, you can make a donation when you book.
There may be tickets available on the door - spaces may be reallocated if ticket holders are late.
