Pub Philosophy
An hour and a half of live philosophy, shaped by your questions — from the timeless to the unexpected.
Join us downstairs at the Hoxton Cabin in our Thursday slot for live, in-the-moment philosophy. Bring your questions, your creativity, and your enquiring mind. Together, we’ll dig deep into a philosophical topic chosen on the night.

What happens at the Philosophy Cabin?
Philosophy is a way of thinking about the most fundamental questions we face — questions about ethics, meaning, time, value, existence, reason, knowledge, mind, and language.
Every Thursday, we explore one question that only philosophy can really address. These might be familiar classics like “What is a good life?” or “How do we tell reality from illusion?” — or something more unexpected, such as “Does my dog love me?” or “Is it okay to kill zombies?”
The question is chosen collectively on the night from your suggestions. The discussion depends entirely on you. The aim is to deepen our understanding of ourselves and the world, while enjoying the shared excitement of thinking together — philosophy for philosophy’s sake.
Dogs welcome. 🐾
PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME SO AS NOT TO INTERRUPT THE DIALOGUE
