Public Speaking Without The Panic

Public Speaking Without The Panic

Boston HouseWantage, England
Thursday, Apr 23 from 9:30 am to 12 pm
Overview

Stay calm Think clearly, Speak with authority

This workshop is for you if…

  • You feel physically anxious before presenting
  • Your mind goes blank under pressure
  • You over-prepare but still don’t feel confident
  • You avoid visibility unless absolutely necessary
  • You know you’re capable, but your body doesn’t seem to agree

Public speaking anxiety isn’t a confidence flaw. It’s a nervous system response.

When you step into visibility, your body can interpret it as threat. That’s why your heart races, your voice shakes, or you rush your words. Traditional presentation training teaches technique but it rarely teaches regulation.

This workshop is different.

Grounded in neuroscience, attachment theory and psychology-led performance, you’ll learn how to work with your physiology instead of fighting it.

In this session, you will learn how to:

  • Understand what happens in your nervous system under scrutiny
  • Raise your reaction threshold before high-stakes moments
  • Use rapid regulation techniques in real time
  • Recover smoothly if you lose your flow
  • Build grounded authority rather than perform confidence

This isn’t about becoming louder. It’s about becoming steadier.

You don’t need to change your personality to speak powerfully.
You need the right internal tools.

If you’re ready to expand your visibility without your body hijacking you — this workshop is for you.

About your trainer:

Rebecca Lisi (MA MBACP) holds a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy and specialises in nervous system regulation and performance under pressure. She combines thousands of clinical hours with a First Class Honours degree in Acting, performances at Shakespeare’s Globe, and years of professional experience working in Los Angeles. This rare blend of psychotherapy and elite stage training allows her to teach public speaking from the inside out, building regulated, grounded authority rather than surface-level confidence.
