About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours 30 minutes

If you struggle with nerves when speaking in public, this free class is for you!

You'll get practical tips, take part in (optional) speaking exercises, and watch our current students deliver their final speeches as part of their course.

Workshop Overview:

This session is designed to help you feel more at ease when speaking in front of others. It’s practice-based, starting with warm-ups, speaking games, and opportunities to deliver off-the-cuff speeches – all of which are completely optional.

You'll have the unique opportunity to watch some of our current students deliver their final speeches as part of their course. This is a great chance to observe, learn, and see the progress that can be made through our training.

Our Approach:

Our philosophy is rooted in authenticity. Rather than teaching you to put on a polished act, we encourage you to drop the personas you wear in daily life and speak with honesty, embracing your natural style. We believe vulnerability is a strength, not a weakness, and it’s key to forming genuine connections when speaking.

The Session Will Include:

  • Why we struggle with nervousness when speaking in public
  • Our approach to embracing and overcoming these feelings
  • Fun warm-up games and icebreakers!
  • Practical techniques to help you speak intuitively rather than overthinking
  • Optional opportunities to practice delivering a short impromptu speech
  • The opportunity to watch current students deliver their final speeches
  • And much more!

Testimonials from Past Students:

“Definitely the best public speaking workshop I have been on! It’s much more than just improving your public speaking skills; it takes a deeper look into fears and humanity. The approach and techniques help unlock your authentic self. It was transformative! Highly recommended!”

More on Our Philosophy:

Our mission goes beyond just improving public speaking skills—we aim to create a more transparent and connected society. Many people chase confidence by adopting a slick, polished persona, but we believe true confidence comes from embracing who you really are. Instead of becoming well-rehearsed robots, we help people become sincere, engaging communicators who aren’t afraid to express their humanness.

Our teachers have a mixture of traditional theatre & improvisation acting training, trained in various meditation and mindfulness techniques, and are passionate about human psychology and behaviour. Aditionally our teachers

Our principles are grounded in authenticity. Our approach to helping people overcome their fears is done through encouraging participants to drop the personas they wear in their day-to-day lives in order to express themselves with honesty, and discover their natural speaking style. We’re big fans of embracing vulnerability and strongly believe it’s a strength, not a weakness. Only through vulnerability do we drop our guard and communicate in a way that truly connects to others.

Confidence gets misdefined these days. We believe It's not about how little fear you have, rather, it’s about how willing you are to show much fear you have. Counterintuitively, we feel the more fear you show the more confidence you have. We believe this is an essential stepping stone for developing true confidence.
