In this workshop, we will hear from, and discuss with, editors, agents and authors of books targeted at a general audience.

In this workshop, we will hear from editors of trade books, and from academics working with them. After their presentations, there will be an opportunity for discussion.The speakers are:<ul><li>Becky Hardie, Deputy Publishing Director at Chatto &amp; Windus</li><li>Nicola Barr, Literary Agent at the Bent Agency</li><li>Elizabeth Cripps, Senior Lecturer in Political Theory and author of <a href="https://www.bloomsbury.com/uk/what-climate-justice-means-and-why-we-should-care-9781472991812/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">What Climate Justice Means And Why We Should Care</a> (Bloomsbury 2022)</li></ul><ul>The workshop is part of a series of events around publishing, targeted at colleagues in the School of Social and Political Science at the University of Edinburgh, but open to all.</ul>
